Redeemer

WorshipWorship Team

Is there a place for everyone to be musically involved at Redeemer? Absolutely! The Scriptures are filled with instruction to sing praise to God. Jesus sang hymns with his disciples. And in fact, artistic expression is such an important part of everyday life that God commands us all to engage in it, whether as professionals or amateurs, and to do so with joy (Psalm 67:4), originality (Psalm 96:1), and intellect (I Cor. 14:15).

300 Voices

Open to everyone, 300 Voices is our "congregational choir." Discovering your unique voice and blending it in harmony with the church body as an offering of praise is truly engaging worship.  Ever six weeks or so the Redeemer Worship Team put down their instruments and join the congregation in the a capella singing of traditional church hymns in four-part harmony.  Even those with NO musical experience can find their voice and learn to sing the soprano, alto, tenor, or bass vocal part of familiar hymns with the help of the 300 Voices Practice mp3s and color-coded sheet music found in the 300 Voices section of our website.

Special Choirs

Special choirs form periodically for services like the Christmas Festival of Nine Lessons & Celtic Carols or the Good Friday Tenebrae Service. Choir participants are made up of Redeemer members and congregants who have any previous chorale experience.  If you are interested in singing, contact Marla Randolph at marla@redeemeratlanta.org.

Musicians

Instrumentalists at Redeemer are generally active in the professional music community in Atlanta. To see how you might become involved, e-mail Marla Randolph at marla@redeemeratlanta.org. In the e-mail, briefly describe your musical experience and your involvement at Redeemer. In most cases, you will be asked to participate in an informal audition.

Sound

If you have experience with operating sound systems, Redeemer has a frequent need for your gifts. Please contact Marla Randolph at marla@redeemeratlanta.org.
