LaAmistad is our after-school program of tutoring, Bible lessons, enrichment, and building relationships between adult volunteers and elementary students.
Who does it serve?
LaAmistad at Church of the Redeemer began in September 2012 and primarily focuses on serving Latino students from High Point Elementary School.
The award-winning LaAmistad program was originally started in 2001 by Peachtree Presbyterian Church and now operates at a variety of churches in metro Atlanta. For more info about the overall program, visit their website at: www.laamistadinc.org.
How can I get involved?
The primary way to serve in LaAmistad is as a volunteer tutor/mentor on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons.
